I wish I had the guts to say hello

I just stumbled upon this gem of a song by a band called Heart Short Hope. Unfortunately all i can tell you about them is that theyre a two piece from Colorado and according to their label, "they'll blow yer socks off!" Honestly, my socks went nowhere, but I do love this song.

and when elliot smith died (also originally from our town) ryan inherited his soul, that's all i have to say

hi. this is just to let you know of recent unfortunate events. the lead singer from the band that you love so much took his own life on sunday. ryan anders is no longer with us, but will always be remembered through his amazing music and talent.

Yeah this track is Ryan Anders, now deceased, and Gavin Bistodeau. It was recorded in Montrose, Colorado in 2006. The band no longer exists but some recordings do. From the studio and live performances. They were never "signed" and this is a myth. Musicians from the final HSH lineup are back together and working on new recordings at a house in downtown Montrose.
