A monthly mix: January 2011!

Though my mantra for 2011 is "back that ass up", this, the flagship monthly mix of 2011, is a bit more of a languid affair. Perhaps it's a last goodbye to a year I don't altogether regret, but that I cannot say I loved. The meaning I put into/get out of this means little in the end though. All I really hope is that maybe you'll find some enjoyment in it. If you find something new to love within these fifteen tracks, well then that's even better! Happy 2011, everyone—and happy listening!

You have really good taste in music! :) I really enjoy reading/listening to the things you post, but I was just wondering one thing (which doesn't really have anything to do with music really): Where do you get the album art from? I think that it's really nice

Hey Jenny! Thanks very much. I'm flattered. I actually make all of the covers myself, so I'm really glad to hear that you like them! :)

might have said this once or twice before, but thank you for what you do. I learn of so many bands from you and while I love your comps and the artwork is fantastic, I'd just like to say that I buy as much as I can (I buy music every month) and mostly delete everything else (either I don't like it or can't find it to buy). You are doing bands and fans a service imo.

Again another amazing mix from skatterbrain! I am also in love with your album covers. Where do you get all those vintage images from?

That is really ridiculous. There are too many ways that marketing has gone too far.
