A monthly mix: November 2011!

Looks a bit more like Spring, but what can you do?

Hey folks! It's Monthly Mix time again! This is actually a special monthly mix in that it is the first one ever to be 100% comprised of new songs. Since I haven’t actually been posting on the blog too much these days, I figured I’d use this months mix to share some of my most favorite new bands, new records, and new songs from the past month or two. Thanks for the November mix. In the future, could you please use mediafire instead of uploading? It took over 30 minutes to DL using uploading's crappy service. Thanks so much!

Yikes! I had no idea Uploading was so bad. Mediafire it is. I wanted to try something new because Mediafire's pop-ups have been getting annoying.

"Uploading" is really slow, 22 minutes for the d/l. Back to the music...Literature - 14 Seconds is really good. Haven't made it past that song yet. Got stuck there, listening to it several times while attempting unsuccessfully to locate band info via google.

Yikes, I'm sorry about all the trouble with Uploading, you guys. I'll reup it on mediafire now.

Glad you like that Literature song! It's my current favorite from their forthcoming LP! You can hear some more on their bandcamp page, here: http://literature.bandcamp.com/

Oh, Matt, it was no trouble getting the file from Uploading. I pushed a button, hopped in the shower, made/ate breakfast, went and got gas, and when I came back--voilà! Great new music from one of the increasingly few reliable sources for discovering great new music.

I need to work on my google skills. I see now that if I had simply googled "bandcamp literature" I would have found their page, but, instead I googled "literature '14 seconds' bandcamp" which brings up diddly squat.

Thanks again!
